Spiral link wire belt known also as spiral woven belt is the most popular design and is used for number of different industrial applications and for food contact made in compliance with food safety requirements.
Spiral link belts are manufactured with round wire, constructed from lelf-turned and right-turned spirals alternately for straight run. Spiraled wire links are connected by transverse rods made of crimped or straight wire. This type of spiral design has excellent trucking properties. Available also with side chains for high load applications. Another variant is a double-weave spiral mesh belt, which has a doubled number of spiral wires and transverse round wires per pitch. There are wide spiral belts and narrow spiral belts (flat spiral) made with round wire only.
