These are spiral mesh belting with chains attached both sides for positive drive. Chains are integral part of these types of belts. They are attached by rods, that pass through the wire mesh belt. It is not necessary to fasten rod on each pin of the chain. There are two chain driven solutions available: with bush chains and roller chains. The size of mesh is determined by the smallest part to be transferred. Metal mesh belts are perfect choice for conveying hot, oily, dirty parts, for drying or cooling in every industry.

Chain driven spiral belts are optimised for production processes especially where the pulling force of the belt is greater than the frictional force on the drive drum . Common applications for chain driven belts are that require positive drive to avoid any potential tracking problems.
